The Position;
Hemas Travels is the IATA accredited outbound travel subsidiary of the Hemas Group. Among its several Divisions are Prime Destinations and the Corporate Travel Division. Their functions are selling Retail, Corporate and Leisure travel, as well as representing, marketing and wholeselling global travel products.

As an experienced front-liner, the prospective candidate will interact with existing and potential clients, to provide a superior and consistent quality of Travel Services to sell airline tickets and travel related products including Leisure Travel. They will be required to handle complex truncations and advise clients on the finer points of difficult itineraries, as well as provide them with efficient travel solutions and up to date reliable information. The prospective candidate will be required to recommend alternate class of travel routes or carriers, providing effective value options, continuously seeking opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell.

Experience and Qualifications;
• A Levels or equivalent
• IATA or Airline Standard Fares & Ticketing course preferable.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the Travel industry with atleast 2 years ticketing or reservations experience. Experience in Leisure Travel will be an advantage.
• Good Arithmetic skills with an excellent knowledge of World Geography
• Good interpersonal ability with excellent telephone and customer service skills
• PC skills with good working knowledge of MS office and outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Spoken Sinhala & Tamil and fluency in other international languages an advantage.
