Day
01: Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi. Meet and assist at the
airport and transfer to the hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 02: Samburu
After breakfast head north across the Equator
into the panoramic northern frontier district
and into Samburu National Reserve approx.
300kms. Lunch at Samburu Serena Lodge. Late
afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at
the lodge.
Day 03: Samburu
Early morning and late afternoon game drives,
with breakfast, lunch and dinner at the lodge,
overnight at the Samburu Serena Lodge.
Day 04: Mountain Lodge
After breakfast drive to the slopes of Mount
Kenya. Lunch at Mountain Lodge approx. 240kms.
Afternoon spent game viewing from the lodge,
with a nature walk led by a local guide.
Dinner and overnight at Mountain Lodge.
Day 05:Lake Nakuru
After breakfast head out to the world famous
bird and rhino sanctuary of Lake Nakuru
approx. 260kms. Lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at
the lodge.
Day 06:Masai Mara
After an early breakfast descend to the floor
of the Great Rift Valley and into the Masai
Mara Game Reserve approx. 370kms. Lunch is
taken en route to Mara Serena Lodge. Late
afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at
the lodge.
Day 07:Masai Mara
Early morning optional balloon flight over the
Mara followed by breakfast in the bush, or an
early morning game drive followed by breakfast
at the lodge. Late game drive. Lunch, dinner
and overnight at the Mara Serena Lodge.
Day 08:Return
A special breakfast is arranged overlooking
the Hippo Pool before returning to Nairobi
approx. 370kms. Transfer to Nairobi. Evening
transfer to the airport for the final
departure.
